Recently I acquired some blurb on the making of Ferris Furtney's superb 'This is Hormel', and the article also mentioned a film from to years earlier [1965] Furtney made for Hormel called 'The Wiener Story' - 10mins dur.

I can find nothing whatsoever in the public domain on it. Does anybody out there know of it / have it?

As much as I have been able to establish is that it is a detailed short on hotdog production from start to finish - covering the actual manufacturing process in far greater length than TIH does [TIH uses some edited highlights from previous Furtney films including TWS].

So where have you seen ths please? Do you have a copy of it?

Have you thought about contacting Hormel? I'm sure they have it in their archives.

Oh yes, I've been in touch with Hormel's corporate archive, that's where I got hold of the magazine article about 'This is Hormel'.

So far they are drawing a complete blank on it, save for the mention of it in the above article.
